The Eruptions Of Mount Sinabung – Indonesia

Here's the first moment of the eruption of Mount Sinabung which is located in North Sumatra - Indonesia.

First, you have to know that this volcano has erupted FIVE TIMES so far (and keep counting). Will there be another eruption? Who knows.

The first one is on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 23.30 (local time). Huh! That's a really bad time to have a disaster. That was an unexpected eruption because the local scientists said that the mountain is still safe. When hearing an explosion voice, some people thought that it was a plane. Then, they finally shocked after found out about volcano eruption. Due to that unexpected eruption, over 20000 (two thousands) refugees are gathering in a refugee camp. Lots of them are moving to their family houses located in nearby towns.

The scientists also predicted that there will be another explosion. And ..... ?they are absolutely right this time. On Monday, August 30, 2010 at 18.30 (local time), Sinabung spits out its lava again. And again, dusts and black ashes were spreading out covering kilometers of area. Whew.. what a volcano.

Does the mountain died? No.. On Friday, September 03, 2010 at 04.51 (local time), it erupts again. This one is considered as the biggest eruption from the previous eruptions. The noise can be heard until 8 kilometers in radius and the ashes reach the height of 3000 meter. As the situation calmed down, the local scientists informs the local residence that it was safe now to go back to their own house. But...

On the same day, at 17.59 (local time), it erupts again. Again??? Oh yes. The local residence went panic and blame the scientists for their false. They demanded the government to provide a better scientists to analyze the exact activities withing the Mount Sinabung.

For the fifth time, it erupts again on Tuesday, September 07, 2010 at 00.23 (local time). The local residence claimed that this one has the loudest noise. Its volcanic materials were spitted out and covered 8 kilometers in radius. The eruption happened for 37 seconds.

Let's see if it erupts again ...
